Transplanting Home Page

This page is our Transplanting Home Page. It is an index to all of our pages on growing and planting transplants.

We start off this section with Hardening Off Plants where we discuss what to do when taking plants started inside to an outside location.

Then we have a little section on Plant Biology where we talk about how plants grow.

Then we follow this up with a page on Pollinating Plants where we talk about how plants produce and re-produce.

And we have a page on actually Transplanting Plants were we talk and show how to put our plants in the ground.

We also have a page called How to Transplant Plants where we show more details on transplanting.

We will continue to add more information as this site develops.

November 2010

Below is a picture of a pepper plant we transplanted when it was large and mature. I had to move it but was not ready to kill it so I experimented with moving it.

I made sure I had a nice root ball and then watered it down good.

In about two weeks it started producing again.
