Green Bean Home Page

This page is our Green Bean Home Page. It is an index to all of our pages on growing, harvesting, cooking and freezing bush and pole green beans as well as dry and fava beans.

Visit Green Bean Seeds to learn more about storing, growing and processing bean seeds in a survival situation.

We start off with Growing Pole Beans where we talk about the Fortex which is a pole green bean that grows up to eight inches long. I have recently learned that pole beans do not do well in the South.

Our next green bean page is about Growing Bush Beans where we grow the Jade green bean. The Jade is a tasty and easy bean to grow.

Our next page is Growing Green Beans where the Provider is grown. The Provider is a good looking bean, grows well and is great for freezing or canning.

And then we have the page on How to Grow Green Beans where we talk about the Jade once again. I told you above that the Jade is a great bean.

There are several pages on cooking and storing green beans.

They are How to Cook Green Beans which is fairly easy to do.

Along with this page we have a page on How to Freeze Green Beans. Freezing green beans is easy to do as well.

There is a second page on Freezing Green Beans.

Vegetable Gardening Made Easier also has a page on How to Cook Dry Beans and How to Grow Broad Beans where we use the Windsor for our example.

We will continue to add more information on green beans as the site matures.

Thank you for your visit.
