Cucumber Home Page

This page is our Cucumber Home Page. It is an index to all of our pages on growing and harvesting cucumbers.

We have a page on Growing Cucumbers where we focus on growing the Marketmore 76.

Our next cucumber is the Socrates F1 at How to Grow Cucumbers.

We are also growing the Norther Pickling at Storing Cucumbers.

And we also show how to make Cucmbers and Vinegar.

July 2010

This has been my worst year for cucumbers. We had a lot of high humidity, cloudy days and rain. Most of my vine type plants did not do well this year.

As a gardener we have to take our chances with the weather.

October 2010

I replanted some cucumbers from seed for the fall. They are doing very well, so I am wondering if it had something to do with starting them inside and then transplanting them outside.

This is something I will have to experiment with next year.
